Australian-owned company gives Aussies the chance to safely win millions from overseas lottery draws

A new Australian-based lottery operator selling real lottery tickets has entered the market giving Aussies a legitimate and safe way to win millions from draws of overseas lotteries, such as US Powerball, US Mega Millions and EuroMillions.

A spokesperson for The Lottery Office said the company was the first Australian-owned and licensed online operator to offer a secure way for Australians to win from major overseas jackpots. “Unlike ‘lottery betting’ which will be outlawed in Australia from January 9th, The Lottery Office does not offer bets on the outcome of overseas lottery draws, nor does it rely on insurers to pay out winnings,” he said.

“We issue the customer with a Government authorised Lottery Office ticket, and then we purchase a matching ticket in the overseas lottery draw.  The customer’s Lottery Office ticket includes exactly the same draw details as the overseas lottery, which thereby guarantees them a legal contract with us.

“If the customer wins, we pay them the exact amount of the winnings we collect from the ticket. By buying a matching ticket in the overseas lottery, The Lottery Office can guarantee all winnings will be paid out.

“We are also closely monitored by the government through an online auditing portal where the Licensing regulators can verify that we obtain real matching lottery tickets for the orders we receive and pay out the exact amount of winnings we receive from successful tickets.”

The Lottery Office’s parent company, Global Players Network Pty Ltd, is an Australian-owned and operated company. Established in 2003, it has been continually licenced in the Northern Territory to offer overseas customers the opportunity to win from Australian Tatts lottery draws.

“We have been one of the biggest purchasers of Tatts lottery products, with over 100 million games being purchased since 2003, and this figure is increasing every year. We have previously delivered over one million payments, including division one winners to our overseas customers”, the spokesperson said.

“We are now offering this service in Australia for major overseas lotteries.

“We pay Australian taxes and have employed over 700 Australians since 2003, with profits staying in the country.”

These profits have contributed to a variety of charities and community groups across the nation.

The Lottery Office will continue this legacy with a portion of revenue, initially set at 15 per cent for 2018, to be contributed to a Community Benefit and Charity Fund that will assist various charities across Australia.
